I honestly love doing the straight stitch like that. I'm kinda stunned by the vest though, I wasn't sure how well the new seam would hold. I pulled in both sides of the new seam and not a single little bit of bad movement happened. It held, and I didn't expect that lol

I'm just gonna plop this here lol

I do a lot of sewing and such, and I love working with patches and showing them off, so this is essentially where I'm going to dump them when I think about it lol

Recently, I've gone through and modified a crop denim jacket into a vest, and took it in at the sides by about an inch both. This one specifically is for my kiddo!

Knights of Sidonia. Here's a better synopsis of the story line, btw lol

This one specifically, started off with me throwing it on for the heck of it, then getting completely sucked in simply due to the fact that it was fascinating. It's a pretty simplistic story line of humanity leaving earth for another planet, needing to do long term space travel, which they resolve population issues by effectively making clones of the "leader" and limiting procreation, and such. However, there's creatures and shit that attack them, and it's a whole mess of an arc. It ended up being a really awesome series and made me realize that I actually like the mech based animes xD
But, this one specifically turned into one of my favourites and it's probably one of the more obscure ones.
